Happy Dreams Can Become Reality

It is with great pleasure that I write for you today, because I am again reminded how important it is for us to pursue our highest most joyous good.

Deep and abiding happiness, a lightness of being beyond all we thought possible, IS POSSIBLE, right now. It is already here waiting for you to experience it. It welcomes you with open arms. So what's holding you back? Perhaps it is the state of the world that has got you down. For many of us, there is this apparent striking disconnect from the mainstream media, and what we are told to believe and do believe based on what we are told. For example, we are told to believe that everything in Iraq is going well, which for those of us paying attention, is not going well at all. Truth is, it doesn't matter what they are telling you. The question becomes not who or what to believe, but what to do with whatever you know and remake it for your own highest good. Is it possible or moral to feel so much happiness and joy and freedom, while so many others do not?

The answer is yes, Yes, and Yes!

Being happy is the most noble thing you can do for the world. It is the most sincere moral imperative one could ever hope to follow. Your suffering does nothing for others except bring them down. But you already know this. You know that only your highest most positive self can best be of service to world. Your happiness makes others happy. It heals the world, and makes it more joyous. It tips the scales towards greater happiness for all, and away from fear and destruction that other desperate souls are caught in. If they weren't so desperate, why then do they spend billions upon billions of dollars to convince you otherwise? Because they know the moment you surrender to your highest self is the moment you become totally free of them. They can no longer control you... you have won. So, what are you waiting for?

DREAM, PRAY, HOPE, CELEBRATE, BE HAPPY! Start with your dreams, the most sacred part of who you are. Believe in your happy dream reality... don't let it die. Carry it with you through the day, never let it go, make it happen, become one with it. Remake your world to align with this dream reality. Who cares if you are all spaced out while doing it. One has to start somewhere. Besides space is where its at, beyond the flat euclidian prisons we are about to leave. To ground yourself, all you have to do is breathe, and you can remain present and happy and fly high at the same time. Rejoice in the present moment and its infinite bliss. If the moment doesn't seem pleasurable, open up to it "as if" it were pleasurable! :) There is no such thing as too much joy or happiness. The levels of bliss you are capable of right now are endless. So what are you all waiting for? Didn't you hear? You can make the choice, right now, this moment sitting in your chair reading this, to maximize your level of happiness for all time. And if it is my permission you are looking for, then yes, go for it!! Follow your bliss, be happy, and the universe will take care of you. Because that is what the universe wants more than anything else, for you to be truly and deeply happy for all eternity.

Peace and Joy to you all,

Paul,
Your humble Future Hi Editor

P.S. Calling all happy engineers. I'm looking forward to all the magickal goodies you are about to bestow on the world. You have my deepest gratitude.

Quite possibly the most important post to ever grace the homepage of Future Hi ... I can already hear the critics whining, but I stand beside you, unfazed ...

Very nice, Paul. Can you give any specific references to the technique(s) you have in mind (such as specific breathing techniques...). You've mentioned them to me in e-mails about a year or more ago, but could you share them with us here? Are there any local (to any particular location that you know of, that is) practicioners that might be able to personally instruct our colleagues?

But the msg is wonderful. THANKS MUCH! Just deep, relaxed breathing is a start. Plus, we all have SO *MUCH* to be grateful for & appreciative of...think ATTITUDE of GRATITUDE. There is so much good stuff coming soon down the pike.

And, hey, btw, y'all wanna see a wonderful, inspiring movie? Most of y'all are probably already familiar with it, but for those of you who aren't please rent or buy Phillip Noyce's magnificent RABBIT-PROOF FENCE. Superbly scripted, directed, acted, and, in general, realized onto the screen, it is certainly one of the best & most enjoyable films of this decade. The 3 aboriginal girls in the film are way too charming & beautiful for words--they're just utterly adoreable. The story is poignant, yet triumphant. Check it out...

Paul, please do edify us all on some specific techniques/practices that you might have in mind...

I'm outta here for now...

Vaya con MetaCosmos...(wink)

Thanks Bohdan and Upwinger. :)

I can't tell you how much that means to me.

Upwinger, I grow more fond of you each day, and once again feel gratitude for your existence and your presence among us.

MCP2012,

I would be happy to share with you some techniques to increase your happiness. The truth is there is a considerable amount of stuff to learn, something I can teach in about 3 days in a one-on-one intensive. But here is some things you can do right now to get started:

Circular Breathing - no pauses between inhales and exhales, RELAXED exhale - that means no forcing or slowing it down. If you breath through your nose, exhale through it.. same for your mouth. You can shift gears - breathing thru nose for a couple of minutes, then switching to mouth breathing. The KEY is to PLAY WITH THE BREATHING.. experiment. Especially, the pace in which you breathing. This is important:

Slow and Deep - good for really feeling deeply - used when you LIKE or ENJOY the feelings coming up - the deep and slow really allows you to savor it.

Fast and Deep - takes practice. You won't hyperventilate, at least for not very long after you practice, because your exhales are relaxed. It is precisely the non-relaxed exhale that causes hyperventilayipon. Fast and Deep is best used when you are tired or low energy. It picks you up and allows you to enjoy the present moment.

Fast and Shallow - takes a lot of practice - but is by far the most powerful type of breathing you can do to integrate the most painful of emotions into joy and bliss.

So here are the 3 STEPS TO REMEMBER - to maximize you happiness:

1) EXPLORE THE SUBTLE CHANGES
This means to feel the feelings in as much detail as possible. Don't change or do anything about them. Don't judge them. Just feel them. Feeling IS healing!

2) INHALE THROUGH THE STRONGEST FEELING
Just imagine your taking your inhales wherever you have your strongest feeling. The strongest feeling IS the most obvious feeling. So it could be an emotion, or something as silly as an itch on your nose.

And Finally, the most important thing to always remember when doing this kind of work:

3) ENJOY THIS MOMENT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN
Always try to enjoy it. If you can't, open up to it as if it were enjoyable. From this flows integration, resolution and deep pleasure.

Just let go, breath, relax, and enjoy

Paul

Your opinion on Iraq is totally wrong! You have a democrat/Liberal's point of view. Yeah, the fight is tough but it's nothing our leaders didn't forewarn us about.

Hi Shawn,

Thanks for your comments. In re-reading my post I did notice my bias on that point. Please accept my apologies. I think what I really trying to say was that no matter what you believe, that the best thing we can all do is to pray for peace and love for ourselves, our friends, family, and ultimately for those we feel least deserve it. A very hard thing I know, but to me it seems like the best thing we can do for ourselves and the world.

I see you are in the military. Please accept my gratitude. I know your job must not be easy. Please take care, and best of luck to you.

Paul
Future Hi, Editor

Hey Shawn, your so called leaders probably never told you that it is wrong to kill people either, but that one you should have figured out yourself:) And to everybody else who dont trust old scared and power-hungry men, have a very good holiday, and to you who trust them; go deep inside yourselfs and find inner peace, then you to will understand war is bad, whatever lie you are killing for, and a very godd holiday to you guys too;)

Shawn: You have my respect, gratitude, and, indeed, *admiration* for your service in the military. Nowdays, especially, it is difficult to serve in America's military--argueably the most honorable on the planet--w/o, however, oftentimes questioning the possible politico-economic motives of the administration-of/at-the-time (whomever he or she may be...). Your courageous and valient service is very deeply appreciated by me, and, I would surmise, by most if not all visitors and regular commentators on this site.

That being said, the question(s) become(s): Should we even have undertook to invade/"liberate" Iraq? Where is there any credible evidence of WsMD? Where is there any credible evidence of a link between SH & his cronies (clearly criminals-against-humanity though they were/are...) and ObL & Al Queda? Now that we're there, we need to mop-up, let Europe take-over administrative help (see the book *Sand Storm*...), and GET OUT...

Happy & Prosperous New Year to you, Shawn, and everyone else...

Shawn (and the rest...): The NeoCons have conned us all with the notion that we (i.e., America) have to be the sabre-rattling policeman of the entire world. Oil also has play a behind-the-scenes role, to be sure. Since the House of Saud is in Trouble, we supposedly need a stable anchor-country in that part of the world. Makes sense up to a point. But it begs the hell out of the question(s) as regards the development/deployment of ***alternative*** sources of energy, as well as the uses to which energy is being put. The oil barons have insufficient incentive to develop alternatives to oil. But, fortunately, these alternatives are emerging and coming online. I hope that soon, Shawn, you and other young men & women won't have to be sent to oil-rich countries for the sake of our dependency on oil. No more soldiers should die or be maimed for **that** particular cause...

Happy & Prosperous New Year to you, Shawm, all your comrades in this nation's military, and, indeed, to everyone...

"Now I do think that human culture has allowed and encouraged greater rates of change than are possible without active, intelligent engagement—but this techno-mystical crap is just kookery, plain and simple, and the rationale is disgracefully bad. One thing I will say for Kurzweil, though, is that he seems to be a first-rate bullshit artist."

The Singularity won't happen. Don't hold your breath.

You're resonating on my frequency, Paul, and might find the project I started titled OBEATA - acronym for 'Oceanic Being Eudaemony Available To All' of interest. See the mission statement at
http://www.raysender.com/obeata.html
and then
http://www.raysender.com/quickies.html

My bumpersticker reads: "Stressed by traffic? Flare your nostrils, not your temper. S-L-O-W-L-Y on the inhale."
No way you can do this and not draw a relaxed breath. For easy access to sleep-bliss states while awake, try purring 20 times upon awakening:
On the inhale: snore (rattle the septum, the soft palette and the solid tube of the trachea.
On the exhale: gargle a French 'R' in the back of your throat and your trachea.
Explanation: your trachea lodges right behind where your aorta (main artery) enters your heart. Vibrating the trachea (why d'you think the Tibetan monks are chanting so deep and low?) vibrates the aorta, which vibrates the whole blood stream (water is a great carrier of sound, and blood is thicker than water - get it?). Within twenty good 'purrs,' your toes and fingers should begin to tingle. If not, try more until they do! Between purring, and using blinks to shove thoughts out of my mind (explained on my blog), and nursing on my soft palette and uvula when purring would be too intrusive, I'm up to my bliss tolerance level all the time (and working on increasing it!)
