today, a young woman on acid realized that all matter is merely energy condensed to a slow vibration, that we are all one conciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream, and we're the imagination of ourselves... now here's tom with the weather...

Bill Hicks.
I've heard it as "a young man took acid.."--could be different recordings of the same bit.
"Do you see ducks going up escalators so they can fly? Oh..but it's such a tragedy. NO it's not, he was a moron...Hooray, we lost a moron."
(Bill Hicks, as random yokel): I took mushrooms and went to Six Flags. I had a horrible time.
Bill Hicks (as himself): Welllll--you're an idiot. Go to nature, that's what they're for.
"Eternal suffering awaits anyone who questions God's infinite love".

She's not the only one, at least with regard to this: "...that we are all one conciousness experiencing itself subjectively, there is no such thing as death, life is only a dream..." I had the same insight, delivered in a split second. It changed my life. Having thought about it for a long time, I would refine the last phrase as follows: "...you are only a dream, specifically, a waking dream; 'you' in this assertion are not your cell colony but your personality; if you make the wrong choices in your dream your fate will be identical to other dreams supported by your cell-colony: those dreams of the night that have no grip on the wide world around you; to experience the one consciousness of this other witness, the truth of the wider reality must be a factor within your dream just as it is in the world around you."
