Wow Jay. I'm amazed this phenomona hasn't hit your nervous system yet! Burning Man is an experience beyond description - imagine the most amazing gnostic event that has ever happened to you when you were other people, and times that by several thousands in quantity, quality, novelty and astonishment, and you will begin to have some idea what its all about. For a week each year in the playa here in Nevada, Utopia on Earth is materialized. You can learn all about it here:

woauh, thanx for putting those pics up. its great to see BM grow like that. beautiful mudd laced buildings, i love those. live desert theatre. one of my fav time at BM, was around 6, when everyone is about ready for the night fun, chilling, emerging from the day, when the shadows on the desert were the longest. with costumes and other strange shapes, the shadows on the ground were mind boggling to watch, and the colors smoothed out by desert pinkish hues.

its just great seing how creative people get if they have the space to express their funkiness:)
